Amy Poehler is set to direct a new film titled Wine Country for Netflix. The script for the movie, about a group of women who travel to Napa Valley to celebrate a 50th birthday, was penned by Emily Spivey (Parks and Recreation) and Liz Cackowski (Saturday Night Live). Poehler will also star in the project alongside SNL alums Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and Maya Rudolph. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Poehler’s longtime comedy partner Tina Fey will be involved in some capacity. Previously, Poehler directed episodes of Parks and Rec and Broad City, but Wine Country will mark her feature film debut.
