Want to ogle a new gadget? This week Toshiba will unveil its new "Toshiba Tablet" device at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The 1.7-pound tablet is expected to become a major competition to Apple's iPad, which costs around $499, and will be comparable in price. The tablet is expected to be released in the first half of the year, and will run on Google's Honeycomb version of the Android operating system. Other features include apps, a front and rear camera, and it will operate on Wi-Fi software. About 50 million tablets are expected to sell this year with Apple presumably dominating the market.
