NBC: Trump ‘Absolutely Not’ Coming Back

NBC will “absolutely not” welcome Donald Trump back as the host of Celebrity Apprentice, the network’s president said Thursday. The show will take a year off while it searches for a new host after NBC cut ties with the now-presidential candidate after he refered to Mexicans as “rapists.” That said, NBC President Bob Greenblatt spoke highly of Trump. “We weren’t in any sort of adversarial position. There were no controversies. It was a congenial, really great relationship.”
