The final pre-Iowa caucus poll results are in and they show Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton leading in the race for their respective parties' nomination. For the GOP nomination, Trump polled at 28 percent, ahead of Ted Cruz at 23, Marco Rubio at 15, Ben Carson at 10, Rand Paul at 5 percent, Chris Christie at three percent; and Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, and Rick Santorum all garnering two percent. On the Democratic side, former Secretary of State Clinton polled at 45 percent, verus Bernie Sanders' 42 percent, and Martin O'Malley's paltry three percent. The Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll was released Saturday evening in anticipation of Monday's first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. Among its other findings: Trump outpolled Cruz on who would be "more feared" by U.S. enemies, who would bring about the most change, and who would be more likely to win general election.
