Maurice White, co-founder and bandleader of Earth, Wind & Fire, reportedly died in his sleep early Thursday morning. According to TMZ, White long suffered from Parkinson’s disease and, although he hadn’t toured with the legendary genre-spanning group in years, he remained part of business decisions until his death. His brother Verdine is still a member of the band. White was 74 years old.
