Donald Trump is the projected winner in the South Carolina Republican primary. The frontrunner business mogul ended up with 32 percent of the vote, besting second-place Marco Rubio by ten full percentage points and nearly 80-thousand votes. Rubio bested rival Sen. Ted Cruz for second place by little more than a thousand votes. The Palmetto State is Trump's second primary victory, coming off a landslide win in New Hampshire and a second-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.
