On Tuesday, anti-gay Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis was released from jail and greeted on stage by Mike Huckabee and a large crowd to “Eye of the Tiger,” made famous in Rocky III. She had been held for five days for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses. The song’s creator, Survivor, was not pleased. “NO! We did not grant Kim Davis any rights to use ‘My Tune -The Eye Of The Tiger,’” Survivor member Frankie Sullivan, who co-wrote the song, posted on Facebook on Tuesday. “I would not grant her the rights to use Charmin [toilet paper]! C’mom Mike [Huckabee], you are not The Donald but you can do better than that.”

Sullivan previously sued Newt Gingrich for playing “Eye of the Tiger” at campaign events without authorization.
