The U.S. government has urged the Supreme Court to not hear a challenge against Colorado’s legalized marijuana laws. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli Jr. responded Wednesday to a lawsuit filed seven months ago by Nebraska and Oklahoma against the Centennial State’s legalization efforts. “The motion for leave to file a bill of complaint should be denied because this is not an appropriate case for the exercise of this court’s original jurisdiction,” the memo read.
