Fox & Friends co-host and Kansas City Chiefs fanatic Steve Doocy donned a Philadelphia Eagles jersey and performed a bird-themed dance on the Fox News morning chat show Tuesday, after losing a Super Bowl bet with Fox News colleague and Philly native Jesse Watters. Doocy, who grew up in Kansas (Kansas City is in neighboring Missouri), was ordered to wear the jersey for one minute, at which point the studio crew cued up “The Eagles’ Victory Song,” the Philadelphia NFL team’s 1955 fight song that includes the popular refrain “Fly, Eagles Fly.” When co-host Carley Shimkus asked Doocy if he had a message for Watters, he obliged by spreading his arms wide and waving them in a dance that imitated a soaring bird of prey. “By the way, the Eagles were much better than the Kansas City Chiefs,” he conceded, after sitting down. When his minute in the jersey ended, Doocy said he would accept the punishment for longer and wear it through the break.
