Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday spent almost 10 minutes of her show attacking people supporting alleged killer Luigi Mangione.
The right-wing anchor opened the broadcast of The Ingraham Angle by lambasting the positive response some have had to Mangione—the 26-year-old Ivy League grad charged with the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

“Liberal wackos are treating suspected killer Luigi Mangione as a folk hero, first by salivating over his Italian good looks,” she said, playing a video from one Instagram user who’d commented, “Mama Mia, does [Luigi] need a Mario?”
Ingraham also railed over reports some people have taken to selling merchandise capitalizing on Mangione’s newfound infamy, with others holding lookalike contests in New York.
“SNL has also gotten in on the act, joking how [Mangione] is not just an alleged killer, but he’s also a flirt,” she added, in reference to the show’s recent skit naming the woman Mangione reportedly flirted with at a hostel as “Lucky S. Bechalive.”
Beyond the jokes and comments on Mangione’s appearance, Ingraham went on to say that what’s worse “is the actual praise for the murder itself.”
“We’ve heard the same rhetoric, it was used in justifying the BLM riots, the harassment against conservative Supreme Court Justices, the threats against pro-life institutions—those were noble causes,” she went on. “And of course, the extreme villainization against Donald Trump and his supporters.”
“These implicit and explicit efforts to treat the alleged killer with compassion and understanding, to elevate the profile of Luigi Mangione, to celebrate him as a martyr—what it does, it simply puts more Americans at risk,” Ingraham went on.
She concluded with an address to leaders in the healthcare, energy, law enforcement and government sectors, warning that if key figures felt unsafe amid the public response to Thompson’s death, “the rabid radicals on the left have already accomplished an important goal of theirs.”
