Jimmy Kimmel is definitely not a fan of Kanye West’s latest song.
“Kanye West dropped a new song over the weekend,” Kimmel explained in his monologue Tuesday. He described the song, “Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine,” as “featuring his daughter North, and... Diddy.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs is a famous rapper who was arrested in 2024 on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has denied the allegation against him.

“Kanye put his 11-year-old daughter on a song with, well, if there’s one guy you want working with your kid, it’s Uncle Baby Oil, for sure," Kimmel joked.
Kimmel wasn’t the only one to have a problem with West involving his daughter in a video with Diddy. North West’s mother, Kim Kardashian, reportedly tried to get West to not release the song at all.
Kimmel also covered West’s now-deleted X post revealing his new album cover. The cover features a big swastika symbol.
“That’s not a joke. That’s his cover,“ Kimmel clarified. He showed West’s post announcing his new Sunday Service logo, which was made up of two SS bolts.
“SS, which I’m sure that stands for something nice like sunshine,” Kimmel joked. “But that’s Kanye... When everyone else zigs, he zig-heils.”
Kimmel’s monologue comes little more than a month after he ripped into West for his rants on X throughout the 2025 Super Bowl. The rapper had declared himself a Nazi in a string of inflammatory tweets.
“You know, you have to work pretty hard to make walking the Grammys red carpet with your naked wife the 12th craziest thing you did this week,“ Kimmel said at the time.
Kimmel’s dislike of West goes much farther back than that, however: Kimmel confronted the rapper over his support for Donald Trump in a 2018 interview.
“You so famously and so powerfully said, ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people,’” Kimmel said to West. “It makes me wonder, what makes you think that Donald Trump does?”
The question seemed to stump West, as he couldn’t answer it for a few seconds before Kimmel had to cut to commercial.
“I felt that his silence answered the question in some ways,” Kimmel said about the interview afterward. “And I also know that if Kanye wanted to continue on a subject then he is not shy about continuing on that subject.”
