Kanye West deactivated his Twitter account after days of posting antisemitic, misogynist and racist content which even forced so-called free speech advocate Elon Musk to take action.
The X owner revealed that the rapper’s account had been “classified as NSFW,” which is an abbreviation for ‘Not Safe For Work,’ on Sunday. Within hours, West had shut the account down entirely.
“You should not be seeing that anymore,” Musk told a user who said he wanted to see Kanye West banned from the platform.

“He’s posting literal porn on the timeline, Joey Mannarino, the X user, said.
West’s final post on the platform saw him thank Elon Musk for giving him access to his account in 2023 after a string of bans.
“I’‘m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent,” the 47-year-old said in his final post. “It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me the energy and attention. To we connect again. Good afternoon and goodnight.”
In other posts during the Super Bowl on Sunday night, he made extreme remarks about Taylor Swift as well as antisemitic comments about Kendrick Lamar’s half-time performance
But the rapper’s most recent posts on X have only been the tip of the iceberg.
West spent three days writing vulgar and offensive hate speech on X. He has called for women to be abused, declared that he was “a Nazi” and begged President Trump to free Sean “Diddy” Combs from jail after he was accused of sexual assault by more than 150 people.

Combs has denied all allegations.
Several celebrities and media stars urged Musk to boot the rapper off the platform, including the broadcaster Piers Morgan and Friends star David Schwimmer.
“We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk,” Schwimmer wrote on Instagram. “I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point.”
“Silence is complicity,” he added.
Other controversial figures have praised Kanye West for making distasteful remarks.
It includes Neo-Nazi influencer and streamer Nick Fuentes who described West as a “leader.”
