That’s after the former Trump counselor was spotted at the soon-to-be-president’s inauguration ahead of his second term wearing, erm… exactly the same thing she did the last time around? Her red-collared, blue-and-white striped coat with matching red leather gloves and felt hat, described by herself at the time as “Trump revolutionary wear” and by The Cut as “the stuff memes are made of,” premiered to no small amount of online derision in 2017. Conway will likely just shrug off any jokes at her expense as she did back then, when she told The Hollywood Reporter, “Sorry to offend the black-stretch-pants women of America with a little color.” In fairness, you’d probably want your money’s worth too if you’d doled out $3,600 on the Gucci coat alone, though not necessarily at the extra cost of looking quite so Yankee Doodle.
