Moderators for an internal employee board at Meta deleted a number of posts from employees criticizing the company’s decision to place UFC CEO and longtime friend to President-elect Donald Trump, Dana White, on the company’s board, according to multiple reports.

Under a post announcing White’s addition to the board, Meta employees sounded off about the new addition—with some offering praise while others slammed the decision, according to posts first viewed by 404 Media.

The tech publication also reported that some posts criticizing White’s controversial behavior in the past were quickly flagged by members of the company’s Internal Community Relations team.

In one post, a member of the moderation team said that some posts were “flagged for review,” and that it was important for employees to “maintain a respectful work environment” and refrain from insulting other employees.

“Insulting, criticizing, or antagonizing our colleagues or Board members is not aligned with the CEE [Community Engagement Expectations],” read a post seen by 404.

The IRC team appears to have left some posts criticizing White up, CNBC reported, but posts related to his personal life were flagged.

Representatives for Meta told 404 that some comments criticizing the decision were left up, and that the CEE’s moderation did not equate to tightening restrictions internally.

The social media company noted in an email to the Daily Beast that some employees also reacted positively to the news that White would be joining the company’s board—and said posts containing “constructive criticism” were not removed.
