Actress Natalie Portman made a real fashion statement Sunday night by wearing a Dior cape adorned with the names of un-nominated female directors to the Oscars. “I wanted to recognize the women who were not recognized for their incredible work this year in my subtle way,” she told the Los Angeles Times of the small gold nameplates running down the border of the black garment. The names included Greta Gerwig, Lulu Wang, Lorene Scafaria, Marielle Heller and Mari Diop.
