Limited Runs will be hosting an upcoming traveling exhibition of extremely rare, never-before-published photographs of screen icon Marilyn Monroe. The tour will begin on June 6 at the BOULEVARD3 gallery, before hitting San Francisco on June 19 at the Sarah Stocking Gallery, and then New York on July 22 at Whitespace. The photographs are taken from a variety of sources, including Thomas "Doc" Kaminski, who documented the making of The Misfits; Allan "Whitey" Snider, Monroe's longtime personal makeup artist; Milton Greene, the famed celebrity lensman; Lani Carlson, who had the opportunity of trailing Monroe for an evening when 20th Century Fox released the song "Marilyn"; and Mischa Pelz, a close friend of Monroe's whose photographs haven't been seen in nearly 60 years.
