‘GONNA THINK I’M NUTS’

Bethenny Frankel said she “knows a guy” who knows what’s up with the mysterious drones plaguing the East Coast.

Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is sharing her seriously out-there theory that the mysterious drones hovering over New Jersey and New York may very well mean something “dangerous.”

“You’re gonna think I’m nuts, but why should today be any different than any other day?” she begins the video, “I know this guy whose father worked with the Pentagon and NASA and like secret projects, and he has been messaging me that he will never forgive himself if he doesn’t tell the people that he knows” that “these drones are ours and that they could very possibly be sniffing out something very dangerous.”

The FBI received over 3,000 tips about nightly drone sightings in the past few months, in a strange phenomena that’s sparked widespread social media interest, as users share their own clips of what they’re seeing in the skies. And though many of the widely shared videos are just typical aircraft activity, authorities have confirmed that there have been significant actual drone sightings.

Amid the media frenzy over where the drones are from and what they’re looking for, if anything, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced Sunday that the drone activity may be an increase due to a new rule by the Federal Aviation Administration, allowing drones to be flown at night.

A White House adviser supported that theory on Monday, telling CNN, “there are millions of drones that fly over the skies of the United States routinely—thousands and thousands that have registered with the FAA. And a lot of them do really good work for public safety and for the public good.”

Those explanations haven’t quelled internet speculation, which Frankel added to on Monday.

Frankel also says in the clip that her friend has “been watching this situation and now several days ago before it became a discussion in the mainstream media,” and believes that the drones are the U.S. government’s way of searching for something he called “missing [and] dangerous.” Frankel adds the chilling detail that “areas that coincide with where the drones have been seen have spiked in radiation.”

The Real Housewives star turned influencer admits that her theory might sound “crazy,” but cautions her followers that “we blow things off and we think nothing’s going to happen, but things do happen.” She adds that her in-the-know friend was concerned enough he “might wanna go somewhere with my daughter” for safety.

President-elect Donald Trump has done little to put the public at ease and fueled conspiracy rumors himself when he said Monday at a Florida press conference, “For some reason, [the government] wants to keep people in suspense,” and added “I can’t imagine it’s the enemy because if it was the enemy they’d blast it out.”

Frankel concludes the video by with her thought that the government has two choices when it comes to explaining the drones: “A, tell us that that’s what they’re doing and [cause] widespread panic and pandemonium. Or B, do what they’re doing. But something is wrong because otherwise they would eliminate them and everyone’s being very cagey.”
