Any lingering doubts about whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were secretly planning a return to the royal family were put to bed Wednesday.
The duchess published a hilarious yet cringeworthy throwback video taken four years ago which showed her heavily pregnant and twerking to try and bring on labor.
The video was published on her daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday as Meghan launched a social media blitz to mark the day.

Earlier on Wednesday, Meghan had posted a new photograph of Lilibet, showing (some of) her face for the first time in three years.
She followed that up with the twerking video, shot in her maternity suite, which also features Prince Harry sliding across the frame.

The duo are dancing to Starrkeisha’s viral hit “Baby Mama” which contains the line, “I’ve been pregnant far too long.”
Meghan wrote: “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work—there was only one thing left to do!”
The couple may also quietly hope that posting the video of a clearly pregnant Meghan in a maternity suite may help to quash wild and false but persistent conspiracy theories which claim that Meghan and Harry used surrogates to conceive one or both of their children.

Meghan also posted an image of Harry holding Lilibet as a baby writing: “The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!”
This week Meghan told Beyonce’s mom, Tina, in a podcast: “I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lili and we’ll be building something.”
The couple have typically only published photos of their children which do not show their faces.
Meghan spoke about her reluctance to distribute royal baby photos in the traditional royal way, saying in her 2022 interview with The Cut: “There’s literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota (press pool).”
