Republican South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace tested out her latest attack on transgender people during a Saturday appearance on Fox News.
In an interview with host Laura Ingraham, Mace claimed that she “uncovered” a $10 million federal program for “making animals trans” as she lauded President Donald Trump’s directives aimed at drastically cutting government spending.
“This information is being exposed to the American people, and I am so grateful for it,” said Mace. “And you have to ask yourself why are all these Democrats having such a meltdown over exposing the waste, the fraud, and abuse within these government programs.”

Mace also heaped praise on DOGE director Elon Musk and slammed Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters for attempting to impede DOGE’s audit of the Department of Education. In a viral clip, a security guard stopped Waters and several other Democratic representatives from gaining access to the department’s building in Washington, D.C.
“If this was reversed, and a male conservative congressman was yelling in the face of a female security guard during the Democrat administration, what do you think the reaction would be?” asked Ingraham.
Mace replied, “Oh, there would be outrage by everyone in the leftist media, the legacy media. It’d be all over the internet, that kind of propaganda.”
Mace claimed that Democrats oppose Trump’s policies because they “hate our country.” She added, “We’re seeing this in real time, right before our eyes, just how disloyal they are to the American people.”
Relishing in seeing Democrats “literally losing it,” Mace couldn’t contain her excitement.
“I wake up every day, and I just laugh,” said Mace. ”They’re literally losing it, melting down, tears every day on TikTok and all these different apps and Twitter and all the social media.”
