Donald Trump went after Joe Biden in an all-caps screed about the wildfires raging around Los Angeles. “NO WATER IN THE FIRE HYDRANTS, NO MONEY IN FEMA. THIS IS WHAT JOE BIDEN IS LEAVING ME. THANKS JOE!” Trump wrote in a Wednesday afternoon Truth Social post. The post referenced the fact that some fire hydrants in California have run dry during the wildfires, due to “tremendous demand,” officials toldThe Los Angeles Times. The president-elect has spent much of the day firing off posts blaming Democrats for the inferno that has killed at least two people, forced over 80,000 to evacuate, and destroyed more than 1,000 structures, according to NBC News. Earlier, he reignited a feud with California’s governor, Gavin Newsom (or “Newscum,” as Trump prefers). While campaigning in September, Trump had threatened to withhold wildfire aid from California unless Newsom channeled more water to farmers, the New York Times reported. “I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA!” Trump added. “He is the blame for this.”
