Donald Trump invited an audience member to feel his hair during a speech Thursday, after denying allegations that he wears a toupee. “I don’t wear a toupee!” he said. “It’s my hair.” After running his fingers through his hair, Trump invited a woman up to touch it. “Somebody’s got a very nice wife. I don’t know who she is, but...” Trump said, after she confirmed that his hair is real.
The Daily Beast’s Olivia Nuzzi previously reported that Trump’s hair is “a brilliant shade of gold in real life—not the washed-out orange color it sometimes appears in photos. ... The way it shimmers with product, it looks like tinsel you could use to decorate a Christmas tree, or the thin chains of a classy necklace you might gift your third wife,” she wrote.
